History of J & R Wood Products
The beginning
J&R Wood Products has been in the cabinet and furniture business since 1976. Joe Taylor and his brother Rick started the business when they saw a need for custom waterbed frames and furniture. This evolved into custom built-ins, entertainment centers and custom cabinetry for kitchens and homes.
2009
When Rick moved out of the area, Joe’s son came to work along side his father and took over the business in 2009.
2022
In 2022, Joe sold the business to his long-time employee Chris Olsen, who has been with the company for 13 years. He's dedicated to keeping up the tradition of quality cabinetry.

Material & methods ensure quality
All work is done in house by our small crew of handpicked employees in our shop in Battle Ground, Washington. You never need to worry about working with someone else. We take all measurements and lay them out using our 3D computer design program.
Your handcrafted pieces are delivered to your home and installed by us so we know the job is done right.
Superior craftsmanship
Solid wood frames are sanded on all sides and both glued and screwed together. Doors and drawer fronts are sprayed flat to allow for better coating of the lacquer and sanded in between each coat for a smoother finish.
All upper wall cabinets are built with the option of adding under cabinet lighting and the latest in cutting edge hinges and soft closers are used.
